LIB DEMS SUPPORT GREEN ENERGY AND THE COMMUNITY
The Liberal Democrat Party has always been a champion of the community and green issues. Grimsby and Cleethorpes Lib Dems have put their money where their mouth is and contributed £2,500 to a Community Share Issue by Grimsby Community Energy, a local community benefit society,to generate an income for community benefit by fitting solar panels to the new YMCA building in Freeman Street.
Cleethorpes Lib Dem campaigner,Roy Horobin commented:
"Liberal Democrats have always been noted for their work in the community and campaigning on green issues. We are proud demonstrate our support for both by contributing £2,500 to the Community Share Issue from Grimsby Community Energy Ltd."
