LIBERAL DEMOCRATS CALL FOR CUT IN COUNCIL TAX REDUCTION SCHEME TO BE REVERSED

Grimsby Liberal Democrat Councillor Steve Beasant and the Cleethorpes Lib Dems have been campaigning for the last year, attempting to persuade the Conservative Council to reverse the increased payment under the Council Tax reduction scheme from 65% to 75% for people with savings of less than £6,000 who are unemployed or on a low income. We must support those who are most in need in these difficult times.
