Community Spirit in Action

Every time our Lib Dem team volunteers at Feed the Community Foodbank on Convamore Road in the Heneage ward, we leave in complete awe of the volunteers.

The amount of work happening behind the scenes is incredible. This place runs on kindness, commitment, and people quietly showing up week after week to make a real difference for local families.

It was also lovely to meet the team from NatWest, who donated parcels, gave up their time to help out, and were on hand to offer practical banking and debt advice.

We were happy to lend a hand again today, and to help organise a visit from Santa for the children who came along with their parents — but this post is really about the volunteers who make all of this possible.
